Design Terms and Conditions

for Kar’s Korner. 

 

If the client provide us with a desired design, the image is used for inspirational purposes only, as we do not fully replicate another cake artist's work. Our goal is to create a design that is unique to each client which also closely aligns with their vision.

 

If the client provides an image or likeness to be created, Kar’s Korner will make every attempt to make the item as close to the likeness as possible. In the event that the product requires decorations or ingredients that cannot be obtained within the time allotted (exotic flavors, molds, shapes, stamps, texture,prints/patterns, additional customized cake toppers, etc.), the closest resemblance available will be used to complete the product.

 

Delivery/Pick-Up Terms and Conditions

 

After satisfactory delivery and/or set up by Kar’s Korner, the client assumes full responsibility for the condition of the cake(s)/dessert(s). 

If the client opts to meet Kar’s Korner for pickup or elects someone to pick up on their behalf and set up the cake, as opposed to having Kar’s Korner deliver, the client assumes full liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake/dessert once it leaves our possession.

Upon visual inspection of the cake/dessert and its departure from the premises, the customer approves the cake/dessert visual appearance and waives any rights to a refund based on the style, design or visual appearance of said cake/dessert.

 

Cake Storage

All cakes require a cool, temperature-controlled environment. To prevent sweating, bulging and other negative changes to the appearance of the cake(s), all cakes should be refrigerated and removed 1 hour prior to serving. Kar's Korner will not be held responsible for damage resulting from exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures. 

 

Safety Terms and Conditions

Client assumes full responsibility for making sure all inedible cake décor, including but not limited to silk flowers, figurines and some fondant decorations, are removed from the cake before it is cut and served. Some fondant decorations are made using additives to decrease hardening time and while these products are non-toxic and 100% food safe, they are inedible and should not be consumed.

 

Food Allergies

Kar’s Korner products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, and other allergens. Kar’s Korner is not responsible for any allergic reactions. Clients are responsible for notifying all guests and any other person or persons who will be consuming the cake(s)/dessert(s). 

 

RIGHTS, WAIVERS, LIABILITY

Kar’s Korner reserves the right to take photos of the product for display or promotion without client consent.

 

Kar’s Korner’s total liability is limited to amounts paid to Kar’s Korner for its goods and services. Kar’s Korner will not be liable for any special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, whether foreseen or unforeseen, regardless of whether liability is based on breach of contract, breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability, tort, or otherwise.

 

By paying this invoice and/or signing this document, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
